Behavior Technician Substitute – work when you want!
Kelly Pediatric Therapy is seeking Behavior Technician (BT) substitutes to provide short term, “on demand” coverage across multiple school districts to fill same day and short term openings for 1-1 and classroom support roles. This is a “work when you want” role, offering high level of flexibility and choice in the shifts you work and can vary week to week based on your schedule and the needs of the districts in and around Reading and Oley, PA. These are day time school schedule hours only, no evenings or weekends available.
These roles would begin for the 2026/2027 school year
Responsibilities:
- Implement individual and classroom-based behavioral programming, at the direction of supervising case manager(s) and classroom teacher(s)
- Record relevant intervention data
- Provide assistance to students to effectively and independently participate in classroom and building activities
- Implement challenging behavior interventions strategies for students with escalated behaviors
- Consistently arrive on time and fulfill coverage shifts, and communicate any changes in availability as soon as possible
- Comply with policies established by federal and state law, State Board of Education rules, and School District policies.?
- Demonstrate sound judgement, critical thinking, decision making, and effective time management skills

Qualifications:?
- High school diploma
- Experience working / volunteering with children, preferably children with disabilities
- Must have reliable transportation to access schools you select to cover in
- Must have access to a computer or smart phone to use the Frontline Absence Management system
- Must pass state & federal background checks & clearances, drug test, and physical, as required by each district
