Kelly Services is seeking a Day Shift Material Handler/ Shipping & Receiving to support Shipping and Receiving operations in a fast-paced manufacturing environment in Taylor, TX. This role is responsible for the physical and system-based handling of all incoming and outgoing materials, including accurate ERP and SAP transactions. The position requires strong attention to detail, the ability to work quickly with 100% accuracy, and safe operation of material handling equipment i.e., Forklift, Pallet jacks, Powered Material Handling Equipment. Some hazardous material handling may be required.

Compressed Work Week, Day Shift
- Shift A (FE Days) 7am to 7pm, Sunday to Tuesday every other Wednesday
- Shift C (BE Days) 7am to 7pm, Thursday to Saturday every other Wednesday
- Training will be on Days, Shift 1 -Mon-Friday 7am-4pm, until certified to go to shift. Please be flexible during training.
- If a Holiday falls on your scheduled shift, you will be required to work the Holiday
- On?call rotation participation to support critical startup needs that may arise outside normal working hours.
Key Responsibilities
- Receive, unload, and stage inbound shipments, including palletized freight and wooden crates
- Perform scheduling of incoming trucks for onsite deliveries.
- Inspect incoming materials for damage and verify packing slips and purchase orders
- Isolate and document damaged, incorrect, or non-conforming materials
- Perform Goods Receipt (GR) transactions in ERP systems using handheld devices and system tools
- Stage materials for inventory control or deliver directly to end users
- Package outbound materials and secure shipments on pallets
- Create shipping documentation and process outbound system transactions
- Perform final shipment inspections (labels, documentation, shock sensors, seals)
- Organize and stage outbound shipments by priority
- Delivering materials to warehouses, fab, or administrative areas as required
- Support internal material transfers between buildings
- Serve as scheduling liaison by receiving calls from Security and directing inbound deliveries to the correct dock or location
- Operate forklifts and other material handling equipment safely
- Support limited hazardous material handling in compliance with company and regulatory requirements
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Able to lift, push, pull up to 45lbs.
- Prior Shipping/Receiving material experience (2+ years)-preferred.
- Prior experience operating a forklift preferred.
- Prior experience scheduling incoming materials preferred.
- Commitment to safety is preferred.
- Good Written and Verbal communication is required.
- WorldShip, RF scanning experience is a plus.
- SAP or similar program exposure experience preferred.
- Forklift, Pallet jack and PMHE preferred.
- Valid Driver’s License is required.
- Prior experience in inventory control with cycle counts of inventory, workorders, delivery fulfillment with incoming inventory preferred.
