Job Title: Production Operator 

Location: Wilsonville, OR 97070
Pay Rate: $19.00/hour
Schedule: Monday – Friday, 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM


Job Summary

The Production Operator is responsible for operating production equipment to convert raw materials into finished goods. This entry-level role supports manufacturing operations by following established procedures, maintaining accurate records, and ensuring products meet required specifications. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, reliable, and capable of working in a structured, routine environment.


Key Responsibilities

  • Operate manufacturing equipment to produce finished goods from raw materials

  • Monitor production processes and perform in-process testing (e.g., hardness, weight, pH, moisture content, variation)

  • Maintain accurate records of raw materials, work-in-process, and completed products

  • Identify equipment malfunctions or product defects and assist with basic troubleshooting

  • Follow blueprints, schematics, and subassembly layouts to complete production tasks

  • Track orders received, work completed, and inventory levels

  • Support scheduling activities by coordinating with production, materials planning, and maintenance teams

  • Requisition materials and track delivery timelines as needed

  • Ensure adherence to company policies, procedures, and safety standards

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred

  • Little to no prior manufacturing experience required (entry-level role)

  • Ability to follow written and verbal instructions

  • Basic math and record-keeping skills

  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

  • Ability to work in a team-oriented, fast-paced environment

Skills & Competencies

  • Ability to follow established procedures and complete routine tasks

  • Basic problem-solving skills for identifying production or equipment issues

  • Strong reliability and consistency in task execution

  • Effective communication and teamwork

Work Environment & Physical Requirements

  • Manufacturing/production floor environment

  • May require standing for extended periods

  • Ability to lift, carry, and handle materials as needed

  • Use of personal protective equipment (PPE) as required
