Job Title: Production Operator
Location: Wilsonville, OR 97070
Pay Rate: $19.00/hour
Schedule: Monday – Friday, 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM
Job Summary
The Production Operator is responsible for operating production equipment to convert raw materials into finished goods. This entry-level role supports manufacturing operations by following established procedures, maintaining accurate records, and ensuring products meet required specifications. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, reliable, and capable of working in a structured, routine environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate manufacturing equipment to produce finished goods from raw materials
- Monitor production processes and perform in-process testing (e.g., hardness, weight, pH, moisture content, variation)
- Maintain accurate records of raw materials, work-in-process, and completed products
- Identify equipment malfunctions or product defects and assist with basic troubleshooting
- Follow blueprints, schematics, and subassembly layouts to complete production tasks
- Track orders received, work completed, and inventory levels
- Support scheduling activities by coordinating with production, materials planning, and maintenance teams
- Requisition materials and track delivery timelines as needed
- Ensure adherence to company policies, procedures, and safety standards
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Little to no prior manufacturing experience required (entry-level role)
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
- Basic math and record-keeping skills
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to work in a team-oriented, fast-paced environment
Skills & Competencies
- Ability to follow established procedures and complete routine tasks
- Basic problem-solving skills for identifying production or equipment issues
- Strong reliability and consistency in task execution
- Effective communication and teamwork
Work Environment & Physical Requirements
- Manufacturing/production floor environment
- May require standing for extended periods
- Ability to lift, carry, and handle materials as needed
- Use of personal protective equipment (PPE) as required
