Contract-to-Hire
Indianapolis, IN
$22+/hour (based on experience & education)
Schedule: 5:00am-3:300pm (4-10 hr schedule with occasional Friday)

About the Opportunity
Our client, a leading manufacturer in the specialty chemical and consumer products space, is seeking a Quality Control Technician to join their growing team. This organization produces a wide range of products including industrial cleaners, lubricants, adhesives, disinfectants, and personal care items, supporting both branded and private-label markets.

This is a great opportunity for someone who thrives in a fast-paced production environment and enjoys hands-on quality work with strong visibility to operations.


Key Responsibilities

  • Perform quality checks on the production floor against established specifications and standards

  • Inspect production lines and components prior to startup to ensure accuracy and compliance

  • Record and analyze measurement data on QC audit sheets; communicate any issues to production

  • Notify management of discrepancies and assist with troubleshooting as needed

  • Follow all Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), Work Instructions, and safety protocols

  • Maintain a clean and safe work environment

  • Conduct ATP swabbing on product-contact equipment and document results

  • Collect retention samples throughout manufacturing runs for quality and microbiological testing

  • Collaborate with production, leadership, and QC teams to uphold quality standards

  • Support a positive team culture and contribute to continuous improvement efforts

  • Work overtime as needed

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED required; additional technical education preferred

  • Experience handling hazardous materials is a plus

  • Basic math and computer skills

  • Mechanical aptitude with troubleshooting ability

  • Strong attention to detail and documentation practices

  • Team-oriented with a proactive, “can-do” attitude
