Kelly Services is hiring a Production Operator (Sheet Metal Fabrication) in Farmington, CT!

Join a modern “Smart Factory” environment where you’ll support fabrication operations with a primary focus in the drill press area, while also assisting across multiple production processes. This is a hands-on role with exposure to machining, fabrication, and finishing work.

What You’ll Do

  • Set up and operate drill press and basic fabrication equipment

  • Assist with machine operation, setup, and basic programming tasks

  • Follow production sequences and record data in system

  • Perform deburring, cleaning, and finishing of sheet metal parts

  • Inspect parts using drawings and basic measurement tools

  • Support painting, welding prep, and prototype testing as needed

  • Maintain tools, equipment, and organized work areas

  • Assist across fabrication departments to support production flow

What You’ll Bring

  • Previous manufacturing or general labor experience required

  • Experience with drill press, fabrication, or machine operation preferred

  • Ability to read basic drawings and follow work instructions

  • Comfortable using hand tools and measuring equipment

  • Strong attention to detail and quality

  • Willingness to learn and support multiple production areas

  • Positive attitude and strong work ethic

Schedule & Pay

  • Monday–Friday | 7:00AM-3:30PM | Full-Time

  • $19.00–$20.00/hr | Weekly Pay

  • Long Term Temp
