Job Title: Assembly Operator III

Location: Mount Joy, PA 17552, USA
Schedule: Monday through Thursday, 4:00 PM – 2:30 AM
Pay Rate: $21.00 – $24.00/hour (based on experience)

Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Assembly Operator III to support manufacturing operations by performing equipment setup, assembly, inspection, and troubleshooting. This role requires strong mechanical aptitude, attention to detail, and the ability to ensure products meet strict quality standards in a fast-paced production environment.


Key Responsibilities

  • Perform equipment setup, changeovers, and basic adjustments

  • Communicate effectively with technicians and supervisors regarding operational issues

  • Use inspection tools to complete quality checks and maintain accurate documentation

  • Conduct visual and dimensional inspections using appropriate gauging tools

  • Troubleshoot assembly, setup, and process flow issues in collaboration with the team

  • Perform in-process and final quality checks to ensure product meets specifications

  • Identify product defects and complete required documentation and notifications

  • Follow detailed work instructions, procedures, and safety guidelines

Qualifications

  • Experience working in a manufacturing or production environment

  • Ability to perform machine setup and handle changeover responsibilities

  • Mechanical aptitude with experience troubleshooting equipment or assembly processes

  • Proficiency using inspection tools such as calipers, micrometers, and optical comparators

  • Ability to interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, diagrams, and specifications

  • Experience using inspection data to make adjustments and meet product specifications

  • Basic computer skills for data entry and documentation

  • Ability to read and write in English

  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs

  • Understanding of GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing) is a plus

Work Environment

  • Manufacturing/production floor environment

  • Requires standing, lifting, and working with machinery for extended periods

  • Fast-paced, team-oriented setting with a strong focus on quality and safety
