Summary
Perform analytical and microbiological testing to ensure products meet food safety, quality, and aseptic standards. Support in-process, finished product, and environmental testing using validated methods and laboratory best practices.
What You’ll Do
- Monitor food safety controls and critical parameters (thermal processing, sterilization)
- Perform production line quality checks and escalate issues as needed
- Support testing of new formulations and packaging materials
- Conduct pre-op inspections, cleaning verification, and allergen swabbing
- Train team members on GMP and food safety practices
- Analyze data to identify trends and drive continuous improvement
- Maintain lab equipment and work areas in compliance with GMP/GLP
- Manage non-conforming materials and support root cause investigations
- Troubleshoot production issues to minimize downtime
- Participate in internal audits and quality system compliance
What We’re Looking For
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree preferred
- Experience in QA within food or pharmaceutical manufacturing is a plus
