Salary/Pay Rate/Compensation:

$21.93 per hour, Monday to Friday, 8:00 am to 4:00 pm

What’s a typical day as Shipping/Receiving Worker? You’ll be:

  • Wearing personal protective equipment and working safely at all times

  • Building and organizing partial pallets and assisting with loading trailers

  • Lifting and moving items weighing 50–80 lbs throughout your shift

  • Driving forklifts to move materials and products around the warehouse and shipping yard

  • Utilizing SAP software to enter and print shipping/receiving information

  • Checking in trucks, processing PGI trucks leaving, and ensuring accurate records

  • Maintaining cleanliness and housekeeping standards in the warehouse and on lift trucks

  • Climbing/descending ladders and stairs, performing repetitive movements, and handling raw materials and finished goods

  • Navigating the shipping yard safely and understanding Owens Corning product lines

This job might be an outstanding fit if you:

  • Have prior experience in shipping/receiving, warehouse operations, or a related field (preferred)

  • Are able to safely lift, push, and pull up to 80 lbs repeatedly throughout the shift (must have)

  • Have previous forklift operating experience (must have)

  • Are comfortable using computer systems, including SAP or similar software platforms (preferred)

  • Are dedicated to maintaining safety and following all PPE and housekeeping protocols (must have)

  • Are able to withstand temperature changes, noise, and perform physical work such as bending, twisting, squatting, and repetitive movements

  • Are available to work the scheduled shift of Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.
