Job Title: Freezer Facility Forklift Driver
Location: Northlake, IL
Position Overview
We are seeking two experienced Forklift Drivers to join our close-knit team at our small freezer facility in Northlake, IL. This fast-paced, team-oriented environment values collaboration and reliability. If you thrive in a group setting and have the skills to operate stand-up, reach, or turret trucks in freezer conditions, we want to hear from you!
Facility Details
- Small operation
- Tight-knit and team-oriented
- Freezer temperatures: -10°F, ambient work areas up to 43°F
Position Details
- Equipment: Stand-up forklifts, reach trucks, turret trucks (experience preferred)
- Environment: Freezer—must have previous freezer work experience
- Schedule: 1st shift (5:00 am – 1:30 pm)
- Overtime: Mandatory, may include extended shifts and weekends
- Pay: $20.50 per hour
- Duration: Temp-to-hire with intent to convert upon eligibility
Requirements
- Previous experience operating forklifts in freezer environments required
- Must supply own safety shoes; cold-weather jackets and bibs provided after initial successful weeks on assignment
- Casual, appropriate warm clothing required
- Strong team player
