Job Title: Manufacturing Technician I/ Small Equipment Technician I
Schedule: Monday to Friday / 6:30am – 3:30pm PST
Shift: 1st Shift
Pay: $14.29/HR
Location: Placentia, CA
Summary:
The Manufacturing Technician I is responsible for performing basic service, repair, and support on medical/dental handpieces and small equipment in a manufacturing environment. This role requires attention to detail, mechanical aptitude, and the ability to follow standard operating procedures while maintaining quality and safety standards.
Job Duties “At-a-Glance”:

Perform basic service and repairs on handpieces and small equipment

Diagnose equipment issues using testing tools and machinery
-
Document evaluations, repair recommendations, and maintenance feedback
-
Conduct quality testing to ensure products meet specifications
-
Read and follow standard operating procedures and work instructions

Maintain accurate service work orders and production records

Provide limited technical support as needed
-
Support preventive maintenance and cleaning tasks
-
Work collaboratively with team members and supervisors

Perform additional duties assigned by management
Job Requirements:

High School Diploma or GED required
-
0–6 months of manufacturing or electromechanical experience preferred

Basic electrical and mechanical aptitude desired

Ability to read and interpret written instructions and procedures
-
Basic computer and math skills required
-
Ability to work independently and in a team environment
-
Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods
-
Comfortable working in a manufacturing environment with moderate noise levels
