Job Title: Manufacturing Technician I/ Small Equipment Technician I 

Schedule: Monday to Friday / 6:30am – 3:30pm PST
Shift: 1st Shift
Pay: $14.29/HR
Location: Placentia, CA

Summary:

The Manufacturing Technician I is responsible for performing basic service, repair, and support on medical/dental handpieces and small equipment in a manufacturing environment. This role requires attention to detail, mechanical aptitude, and the ability to follow standard operating procedures while maintaining quality and safety standards.

Job Duties “At-a-Glance”:

  • Perform basic service and repairs on handpieces and small equipment


  • Diagnose equipment issues using testing tools and machinery


  • Document evaluations, repair recommendations, and maintenance feedback


  • Conduct quality testing to ensure products meet specifications


  • Read and follow standard operating procedures and work instructions


  • Maintain accurate service work orders and production records


  • Provide limited technical support as needed


  • Support preventive maintenance and cleaning tasks


  • Work collaboratively with team members and supervisors


  • Perform additional duties assigned by management

Job Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or GED required


  • 0–6 months of manufacturing or electromechanical experience preferred


  • Basic electrical and mechanical aptitude desired


  • Ability to read and interpret written instructions and procedures


  • Basic computer and math skills required


  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment


  • Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods


  • Comfortable working in a manufacturing environment with moderate noise levels
