Quality Assurance Specialist
Location – Company based in New Haven, CT. This position can work remote.
Job Type: Contract – Maternity Leave Coverage
Hourly Pay: $26/hr
Schedule: Monday–Friday | 7:30AM – 4:30PM
We’re looking for an experienced Quality Assurance Specialist to join our team in a fully remote contract role. This position plays a key role in keeping quality processes moving efficiently and collaborating across teams including QA, Chemistry, Clinical, and Project Management.
What You’ll Do
- Manage and close quality records including CAPAs, deviations, investigations, complaints, change controls, and OOS events
- Review and approve CAPA extensions and closures
- Coordinate with teams to ensure timely follow-up and completion of tasks
- Support QA functions including QMS, vendor management, and document control
- Maintain records in SharePoint and assist with quarterly metrics
- Help improve quality processes and systems
What We’re Looking For
- Bachelor’s degree required
- 5+ years of Quality Assurance experience
- Experience with CAPAs, investigations, deviations, and change controls
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, collaborative environment
- Able to manage multiple priorities independently in a remote setting
