Location: Franklin, MA
Shift: 1st Shift, Monday–Friday, 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM
Pay Rate: $24.00 per hour
Status: Full-Time, Temp-to-Hire
Reports To: Warehouse Manager

Position Summary
Our client is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Receiving Coordinator to support warehouse receiving operations. This position serves as a critical link between inbound deliveries and inventory accuracy by ensuring all receiving documentation, purchase orders, and shipment records are processed correctly before inventory is posted into the system.
This is a warehouse-based administrative role that requires experience with inbound receiving processes, inventory transactions, Bills of Lading (BOLs), packing slips, purchase orders, and delivery documentation. While this position works closely with warehouse personnel, it does not involve forklift operation.
The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced warehouse environment, possesses strong organizational skills, and has experience working with high-volume inbound shipments and inventory management systems.
Key Responsibilities
Receiving & Inventory Coordination

Coordinate inbound receiving activities for LTL, truckload, and container deliveries.

Review and organize Bills of Lading (BOLs), packing slips, delivery receipts, and purchase order documentation prior to unloading and processing.

Compile and process grouped purchase orders within ERP/WMS systems to facilitate efficient receiving transactions.

Work closely with warehouse personnel to ensure accurate receipt of products, quantities, units of measure, and staging locations.

Verify received inventory against delivery documentation and system records before inventory is posted.
Documentation & Data Accuracy

Ensure all receiving transactions are entered accurately and in a timely manner.

Generate, maintain, file, and distribute receiving documentation according to company procedures.

Monitor inventory receipts and ensure compliance with internal controls and receiving standards.

Maintain organized records of receiving transactions and supporting documentation.
Discrepancy Resolution

Investigate and resolve receiving discrepancies, including:

Shortages
-
Overages
-
Damaged goods
-
Incorrect shipments
-
Quantity variances
-

Collaborate with warehouse leadership, purchasing teams, vendors, and carriers to resolve issues.

Document and process approved inventory adjustments when necessary.
Continuous Improvement

Identify recurring receiving issues and recommend process improvements.

Support inventory accuracy initiatives and warehouse efficiency programs.

Perform additional duties as assigned to support warehouse operations.
Qualifications
Required
-
High School Diploma or GED.
-
Minimum of 1 year of experience in:
-
Warehouse receiving
-
Inventory control
-
Logistics
-
Distribution operations
-
Related warehouse administration roles
-
-
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

Ability to accurately process paperwork and system transactions.
-
Comfortable working in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
-
Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
-
Ability to work in varying warehouse temperatures throughout the year.
Preferred
-
Experience using Epicor Prophet 21 (P21).
-
Experience with Warehouse Wireless Management Systems (WWMS).
-
Experience processing receiving transactions within ERP and WMS platforms.
-
Experience with Group PO receiving and container receiving operations.
-
Experience working in high-volume, high-SKU warehouse environments.
-
Knowledge of barcode identification best practices.
-
Familiarity with RF (Radio Frequency) scanning workflows and inventory systems.
