Assembler / Packer (Production Line)

Location: Durham, CT
Starting Pay: $20.00/hour (1st shift), $22.00/hr (2nd shift)

Shift Availability

1st Shift

  • Monday – Thursday: 6:00 AM – 4:30 PM

  • Friday OT (as needed): 6:00 AM – 2:00 PM

2nd Shift

  • Monday – Thursday: 4:00 PM – 12:00 AM

  • Friday OT (as needed): 2:00 PM – 10:00 PM

 


Company Overview

We are a third-generation, family-owned manufacturer of industrial storage, material handling, first aid, and safety products. We are seeking dependable, hardworking individuals to join our growing production team.

This is an excellent opportunity for candidates who enjoy hands-on work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.


Job Responsibilities

Production & Packaging

  • Remove products from overhead conveyor lines

  • Assemble and package products into designated cartons

  • Apply components including gaskets, trays, scoops, and related materials

  • Stack and palletize finished cartons for shipment

Quality Control

  • Visually inspect products and packaging for quality

  • Report defects or production issues immediately

Equipment Operation

  • Operate packing line equipment including:

    • Taping machines

    • Glue machines

    • Carton erectors

    • Pallet lifts

General Duties

  • Maintain production pace and quality standards

  • Assist with production line setups

  • Keep work areas clean, organized, and safe

  • Follow all company safety procedures and training requirements

Qualifications

  • Ability to stand for extended periods

  • Ability to perform repetitive motions throughout shift

  • Ability to continuously lift and carry up to 25 lbs

  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced team environment

  • Strong attention to detail and reliability
