Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Senior Full Stack Developer to join our global team in Houston, TX. In this client-facing role, you’ll be responsible for designing, developing, enhancing, and maintaining enterprise-level applications built on VB.Net, .NET, MVC, and SQL Server.
The ideal candidate:
A hands-on developer with strong backend and frontend experience, a thorough grasp of application architecture, and practical expertise using Azure DevOps for source control, work item tracking, and collaboration. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality, scalable solutions in a fast-paced enterprise environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, and maintain enterprise applications using VB.Net, .NET Framework/.NET, MVC, and SQL Server.
- Develop and enhance user interfaces and frontend components that meet business needs.
- Build and maintain backend services, APIs, and business logic layers.
- Write, optimize, and troubleshoot SQL queries, stored procedures, and database schemas.
- Use Azure DevOps for code repositories, work item management, sprint planning, and collaboration.
- Apply Git best practices for version control (branching, merging, code reviews).
- Collaborate with DevOps & infrastructure teams on application deployments and releases.
- Troubleshoot and resolve application issues across development, test, and production environments.
- Participate in code reviews to ensure code quality and maintainability.
- Contribute to application architecture discussions and technical design decisions.
- Draft and maintain technical documentation for code, components, and processes.
- Actively engage in Agile ceremonies: sprint planning, daily stand?ups, reviews, retrospectives.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
- 5+ years hands-on full stack development experience in an enterprise environment.
- Strong experience with VB.Net, .NET, and MVC application development.
- Solid background with SQL Server, including query optimization and database design.
- Proficiency in Azure DevOps for repositories, work item management, and tracking.
- Strong knowledge of Git and version control best practices.
- Understanding of full application lifecycle from development to support/maintenance.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to resolve application issues.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with frontend technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) within MVC applications.
- Familiarity with REST APIs and service-oriented architectures.
- Exposure to Agile/Scrum development methodologies.
- Experience supporting applications in cloud or hybrid (Azure preferred) environments.
- Willingness and ability to learn emerging tools, frameworks, and technologies.
- Experience using AI tools for co-development is a plus.

- Able to work independently with minimal direction.
- Adaptable and proactive in a fast-paced environment.
