General Labor / Forklift Operator (3rd Shift)

Shift: 3rd Shift (Monday–Friday, 10:30 PM – 6:30 AM)
Pay Rate: $25.15/hour

 


Position Overview

This role involves performing general labor duties in a fast-paced production environment. Responsibilities may include operating equipment, housekeeping, material handling, and supporting production operations as needed. The work environment can be dusty or dirty and requires physical activity such as bending, twisting, and lifting.


Key Responsibilities

  • Perform general labor duties including cleaning, equipment operation, and production support

  • Operate forklifts and other powered industrial trucks (PIT) safely and efficiently

  • Load, unload, and move materials and finished products

  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of work areas

  • Follow all safety procedures and company policies

  • Complete assigned tasks efficiently and accurately

  • Support team members and assist with additional duties as assigned

Qualifications & Skills

  • Ability to follow verbal and written instructions

  • Basic math skills (counting, measuring, simple calculations)

  • Strong communication skills in both individual and group settings

  • Ability to perform repetitive tasks in a production environment

  • Capable of working independently and as part of a team

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds repeatedly

  • Ability to stand and work on feet for extended periods

  • Ability to bend, stoop, twist, and perform physically demanding tasks

  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced and industrial environment

Equipment & Technical Requirements

  • Ability to operate or learn to operate powered industrial trucks (forklifts, pallet jacks)

  • Must successfully pass Powered Industrial Truck (PIT) certification/training

  • Basic computer skills for occasional system use

Education & Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent (GED) preferred

  • Steel-toe shoes required

  • Commitment to safety and compliance with all workplace regulations

Training

  • On-the-job training provided

  • Skills can typically be learned within a short timeframe with proper training
