Full-Time | Direct Hire
Pay Rate: $70-75K, based on experience
1st shift: 7pm-5am (Sunday-Thursday)

 

What’s a typical day as Shift Press Supervisor? You’ll be:

  • Overseeing all extrusion operations during your assigned shift, including packing, loading, and maintenance coordination

  • Directly supervising and providing leadership to extrusion operators, packers, loaders, and support staff

  • Assigning tasks, monitoring performance, and ensuring productivity and adherence to safety and quality standards

  • Providing training and guidance on equipment operation and safety protocols

  • Ensuring extrusion presses are set up and operated according to specifications

  • Overseeing packing and loading to meet shipping schedules and quality requirements

  • Monitoring production schedules and adjusting resources to meet deadlines

  • Maintaining accurate shift reports, including production output, downtime, and quality metrics

  • Inspecting products for compliance with dimensional and surface finish requirements, and addressing quality issues promptly

  • Coordinating with maintenance to schedule and prioritize repairs and preventive maintenance

  • Enforcing safety policies and conducting regular safety checks

  • Identifying and implementing process improvements and efficiency gains

This job might be an outstanding fit if you:

  • Have a high school diploma or equivalent (technical training preferred)

  • Bring a minimum of 3–5 years of experience in aluminum extrusion or a related manufacturing environment

  • Possess previous leadership or supervisory experience

  • Demonstrate strong knowledge of aluminum extrusion processes, packing, loading, and maintenance coordination

  • Exhibit excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills

  • Are committed to safety, team development, and continuous improvement
