Kelly Services is currently hiring a Field Service Technician for a Direct Hire opportunity on behalf of an innovative industrial automation and wireless technology company specializing in radio remote controls, engine and generator control systems, and cloud-based monitoring solutions for heavy equipment and industrial environments.
This is an excellent opportunity for individuals with technical troubleshooting, repair, installation, or field service experience looking to grow their career in a stable and technology-driven environment.
$52,000 – $62,400 Depending Upon Experience
Responsibilities:
- Perform client-site servicing, repair, and installation of company products
- Provide technical support to customers regarding operation and maintenance of equipment
- Serve as a primary customer contact for technical and service-related issues
- Diagnose mechanical, hardware, software, and systems failures using established procedures
- Determine cost-effective repair solutions to minimize customer downtime
- Provide in-house technical support when not traveling
- Support new product builds and quality control efforts within the facility
- Prepare reports analyzing product failures and service-related trends
- Utilize hand tools and assist with packing shipments as needed
Requirements
- Associate degree in a technical field preferred
- Two to four years of related technical or field service experience preferred
- Experience with technical products, electronics, or industrial applications is a plus
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Good verbal and written communication skills
