Kelly Pediatric Therapy is seeking a compassionate and dependable Health Aide to provide school-based health support services within a supportive K-12 educational setting.
This position works collaboratively with school nurses, educators, administrators, and support staff to help meet the daily medical and personal care needs of students while promoting a safe and inclusive learning environment.

Responsibilities
• Administer medications to students according to district policy and document services appropriately
• Provide delegated health services and personal care support to students as directed by the supervising Registered Nurse and Individualized Health Care Plans
• Assist students with feeding, toileting, transferring, positioning, mobility, and transportation support as needed
• Support students with specialized healthcare needs, including but not limited to tube feedings, catheterization, suctioning, vital signs, emergency medications, and related health procedures following appropriate training
• Escort and assist students safely throughout the school environment
• Monitor and maintain student health equipment and medical supplies
• Provide basic first aid and respond appropriately to student health concerns in the absence of the nurse
• Record student health information including height, weight, temperature, and reports of illness or infection
• Communicate health concerns, injuries, or emergencies promptly to the supervising nurse and school administration
• Maintain confidentiality and professional communication with students, families, and staff
• Participate in trainings, staff meetings, and professional development opportunities
• Assist with clerical and health office responsibilities as requested
• Support a safe, positive, and inclusive educational environment for all students
Qualifications
• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Current Certified Medical Assistant (CMA), Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA), or higher credential required
• Current CPR and BLS certifications required
• Experience working with children or within a school setting preferred
• Ability to physically assist students with mobility, lifting, positioning, transferring, and transportation needs
• Strong communication, teamwork, and customer service skills
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions effectively
• Dependable, professional, flexible, and student-focused approach to care
