Service Technician – Mobile Office Maintenance
Location: Marysville, WA (On-site / Field Work)
Pay: $25/hour
Job Type: Full-Time
Job Summary
We are seeking a dependable, hands-on Service Technician to perform maintenance, repair, and installation work on mobile office and modular units at customer sites. This role involves carpentry, basic electrical and plumbing repairs, and general maintenance work in both yard and field environments.
You will work independently and as part of a team to ensure mobile office units are safe, functional, and ready for customer use.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform scheduled maintenance and service calls on mobile office units at customer sites
- Complete general repairs including carpentry, structural fixes, and interior/exterior maintenance
- Install and remove countertops, tables, partitions, and security hardware (deadbolts, latch guards, etc.)
- Perform basic electrical troubleshooting and minor rework in mobile/modular units
- Perform basic plumbing repairs and maintenance tasks
- Load and unload units with foundation materials and entry systems
- Conduct cleaning and upkeep of interior and exterior units
- Maintain yard organization and keep work areas clean and safe
- Operate hand tools, power tools, and forklifts (if certified)
- Follow daily assignments from the Lot Foreman
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Experience in carpentry, construction, facilities maintenance, or field service work
- Basic knowledge of electrical and plumbing systems
- Comfortable using hand tools and power tools safely
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Strong teamwork and customer service skills
- Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record
Preferred Qualifications
- Construction, handyman, or mobile/modular unit maintenance experience
- Forklift certification
- HVAC, electrical helper, plumbing, or facilities maintenance background
- Prior field service or customer site work experience
Physical Requirements
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly
- Carry 25 lbs up to 250 feet unassisted
- Work on ladders, uneven surfaces, and concrete floors
- Work outdoors in all weather conditions
- Use hand tools and power tools safely
- Ability to work 8–12 hour shifts and occasional overtime
Schedule
- Full-time, Monday–Friday
- Occasional overtime as needed
