Job Title: Land Surveying Field Technician (Survey Aide)
Location: Houston, TX 77002
Work Schedule: 40 hours a week – OT opportunity if needed.
Pay Rate: USD 21/hr
Contract: 6 months
Qualifications:
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Ability to perform physical labor and outdoor work
• Ability to use and handle surveying equipment
• Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team
• Strong communication skills
Responsibilities:
• Support survey crew with daily field activities
• Move, place, and hold range poles, level rods, and surveying equipment
• Set stakes, iron rods, hubs, and other markers in the ground
• Clean, maintain, and stock survey vehicles with necessary supplies
• Assist in locating facilities using survey instruments such as total stations and GPS equipment
• Maintain, clean, and adjust survey equipment to ensure accuracy
• Coordinate activities and communicate with crew members and survey chief
