Job Title: Wire Room Associate
Shift: Monday–Friday, 12 PM – 8 PM
Pay Rate: $20.50 per hour


Position Overview:
As a Wire Room Associate, you play a key role in ensuring the accurate and efficient movement of inventory within our warehouse. You’ll be responsible for handling, receiving, storing, selecting, packing, and shipping materials—specifically focusing on wire products—using advanced warehouse technology. This position offers opportunities for growth and professional development within our employee-owned company.
Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate warehouse equipment, including pallet jacks, forklifts, and push carts

  • Receive and store incoming wire materials following Warehouse Management System (WMS) processes

  • Select, cut, pack, and palletize wire products for shipment

  • Sort and pack less-than-truckload shipments, and conduct routine cycle counts

  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment; follow all safety procedures and perform daily safety inspections

Requirements:

  • No fear of heights; able to perform physical duties such as cutting wire, lifting various loads, climbing ladders, and working in varying temperatures

  • Minimum age: 18 years old

  • Able to pass pre-employment physical testing

  • Strong work ethic and reliable attendance record

  • 2+ years’ warehouse experience preferred

  • Previous experience with a Warehouse Management System (WMS) strongly preferred

  • Large warehouse experience is a plus
