Kelly Services is hiring an Assembly Specialist (Creform / Material Handling) in Farmington, CT!

If you enjoy hands-on assembly work and keeping production running smoothly, this role puts you at the center of both production and logistics operations. You’ll be building and maintaining Creform carts, supporting material flow, and ensuring quality and organization across the shop floor.

What You’ll Do

  • Assemble, maintain, and repair Creform carts to support production operations

  • Pack and unpack materials related to Creform systems and equipment

  • Load and unload parts and equipment for shipping and receiving, following proper handling procedures

  • Perform visual quality inspections on all incoming and outgoing materials

  • Operate material handling equipment such as forklifts and cranes to move materials safely

  • Monitor and maintain proper inventory levels for parts and materials

  • Conduct routine maintenance checks and repairs on Creform equipment

  • Collaborate closely with the Production Supervisor to support workflow priorities

  • Work independently while maintaining productivity and accuracy

  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safety-focused work environment

What You’ll Bring

  • Previous experience in assembly, material handling, or warehouse operations

  • Experience with Creform systems or mechanical assembly preferred

  • Ability to operate forklifts, cranes, or similar equipment (certification a plus)

  • Strong attention to detail and quality control

  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision

  • Comfortable with physical work, including standing, bending, and lifting up to 50 lbs

  • Strong safety awareness and commitment to maintaining a clean workspace

Schedule & Pay

  • Monday–Friday | 7:00 AM–3:30 PM | Onsite

  • Overtime and occasional Saturdays may be required

  • $18.00–$19.00/hr | Weekly Pay

  • Long-Term Temporary
