Supplier QA Associate – Allegan MI

Kelly Science & Clinical has a temporary opportunity for a Supplier QA Associate in Allegan, MI! Contract is slated to the end of 2026, with the possibility of being extended, and the need to fill is immediate.

Summary:
The Supplier QA Associate provides QA technical, and systems support for procured raw materials, packaging components, and Contract Labs within the realm of Supplier Quality Management (SQM).
 
Day to Day Responsibilities:

  • Creates SAP raw material numbers for client’s sites.

  • Creates and maintains SAP raw material bill of materials including nutritional and allergen information related to procured raw materials for PMH/PMI

  • Conducts data analysis of vendor/material technical information, performs impact analysis on marketed product, and manages technical data in SAP and other systems for PMI procured Materials.    

  • Creates, populates, and maintains material master information in SAP, manages other SQM and GMP related processes using a variety of platforms (SAP, Trackwise, Excel, SharePoint).     

  • Maintains Materials SQM systems, including approved supplier databases (SAP / Excel) and supplier notification of changes (Trackwise) to comply with GMP and company internal requirements.

  • Creates, reviews, and closes supplier advisories in SAP and facilitates communication with suppliers.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in a quality or technical discipline preferred.

  • 1-3 years’ experience in Quality, Regulatory Affairs, Procurement, or related discipline.

  • Understanding the interpretation and application of government and industry standards and familiarity with industry regulatory and inspection requirements.

  • Demonstrated decision making and risk assessment skills with management oversight.

  • Strong analytical skills, math skills, number accuracy, and the ability to work with minimal supervision against multiple deadlines.

  • Excellent oral and written communication skills and good interpersonal and relational skills.

  • Computer literacy is required, with two years or more of Microsoft Word and Excel experience.

  • Knowledge of ERP systems preferred.

Pay: TBD and based on experience; Enhanced/Comprehensive benefits package available

Hours: 8AM – 5PMEST, M-F. Training for the first month will be onsite and then thereafter, a hybrid work schedule with 3 days onsite and 2 days offsite is an option.
