Kelly Services is hiring an Assembly Specialist (Machine Assembler – Laser Line) in Farmington, CT!

Join a high-tech manufacturing environment assembling advanced laser systems and precision machinery. This role is ideal for candidates with strong mechanical assembly experience who enjoy working with complex equipment, blueprints, and precision tools in a fast-paced production setting.

What You’ll Do

  • Perform complex mechanical machine assembly on laser production lines

  • Read and follow blueprints, part lists, and hydraulic/pneumatic schematics

  • Use precision measuring tools in both inch and metric systems

  • Troubleshoot assembly and mechanical issues during builds

  • Maintain clean and organized work areas

  • Support process improvements and production efficiency initiatives

  • Follow quality standards, safety procedures, and company policies

  • Participate in continuous improvement and team meetings

What You’ll Bring

  • 2+ years of machine assembly experience OR 5+ years in manufacturing, maintenance, or service

  • Ability to read blueprints and basic schematics

  • Experience using precision measuring equipment

  • Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills

  • Attention to detail and commitment to quality

  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform repetitive bending/reaching

  • Experience with electrical wiring assembly, forklift operation, or computer systems is a plus

Schedule & Pay

  • Monday–Friday | 7:00 AM–3:30 PM | Full-Time

  • $23.00–$28.00/hr DOE | Weekly Pay

  • Long-Term Temp Opportunity
