Kelly Engineering has an exciting direct hire Project Engineer- Product Development role with a well-established company experiencing dynamic growth in the White Plains NY area. The Project Engineer will be involved in the full product design lifecycle from conceptualization and prototype to detailed design, component selection, and production release. This role will have a strong operational component around project management as well as procurement, and design for manufacturing.

What you will do:
 

• Meet development milestones throughout the projects
  

• Communicate with vendors for prototyping and production procurement
  

• Support production for work instruction creation, tooling, process qualification, and testing protocols for project performance.
  

• Oversee scheduling and project databases, and report to stakeholders on progress and issues that could impact cost or schedule
  

• Manage compliance with standards and specifications for quality control

Qualifications:
 

• BS Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering
  

• 1-2 years of product development experience
  

• Experience with robotics and mechatronics is highly desired
  

• Strong understanding of the product life cycle
  

• Strong communication and writing skills
