Accounts Receivable Specialist
Schedule: Monday–Friday | 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM
Pay: $22–$25/hour

Kelly Services has a direct hire opportunity with a manufacturing company in Chesterfield, MO seeking an experienced Accounts Receivable Specialist. This position supports daily accounting operations with a focus on customer payments, account follow-up, reporting, and account maintenance. Candidates should have prior collections experience, strong communication skills, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment. Experience using SIS Pro software is a plus.

Key Responsibilities

• Apply incoming payments and update customer account records accurately
  

• Contact customers regarding past due balances through phone and email communication
  

• Research and correct billing discrepancies and payment issues
  

• Maintain detailed documentation related to account activity and customer interactions
  

• Assist with invoicing, payment processing, and account reconciliation tasks
  

• Review aging reports and support efforts to improve account payment timelines
  

• Generate routine financial and activity reports for internal use
  

• Work collaboratively with customers and internal departments to resolve account concerns
  

• Support additional administrative and accounting functions as needed

Qualifications

• Previous experience in accounts receivable and collections required
  

• Associate degree or comparable work experience preferred
  

• Familiarity with billing processes and account maintenance
  

• Strong organizational skills and attention to accuracy
  

• Ability to manage multiple deadlines and responsibilities effectively
  

• Professional communication and customer service skills
