Job Title: General Utility Associate 
Location: Florence, Kentucky, 41042 USA  
Work Schedule: Rotating schedule (Mon–Tue, Fri–Sun, Wed–Thur), from 7:45 PM – 8:00 AM  
Pay rate: USD $19.00 per hour  
Contract: Temp to hire

Summary:
The General Utility Associate supports facility operations by ensuring production lines are stocked with materials, maintaining housekeeping standards, completing paperwork, and assisting with quality checks. This role also helps stage, load, and label shipments to ensure timely and accurate order fulfillment. Manufacturing experience is required; plastics experience is a strong plus.

Core Responsibilities:

  • Work closely with plant staff to provide a safe work environment

  • Start and operate mixers/production lines as assigned

  • Transfer products from production lines to pallets for work-in-process (WIP) or finished goods

  • Track inventory produced during shift and monitor actual downtime and causes

  • Use appropriate packaging materials for different product types

  • Build pallets to match product output and ensure proper staging

  • Load and unload trucks, and stage products in the correct location

  • Periodically inspect for quality issues (visually or using tools)

  • Maintain a clean and organized work area by following 6S standards

  • Complete other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or GED preferred

  • Manufacturing experience required; experience in plastics is a plus

  • General work experience in manufacturing or similar environment preferred

  • PPE: Steel-toed boots required. Other necessary PPE provided onsite depending on the task.
