We’re seeking a Forklift Operator (Must Have Reach Experience) to work at a premier distribution center in Dallas, TX. Sound good? Take a closer look below. Pay Rate:

  • 1st Shift: $17.50 per hour (Monday–Friday, 5:00am to 2:30pm or until job completion)

  • 2nd Shift: $18.50 per hour (Monday–Friday, 2:30pm to 11:00pm or until job completion)

Shifts:

Ability to work overtime, evenings, or weekends to complete work or to attend meetings as assigned, tolerance of standing posture up to 5 hours, over an 8-10-12 hour shift

What’s a typical day as Forklift Operator? You’ll be:

  • Efficiently and safely loading and unloading freight using equipment such as sit down/stand-up forklifts, high-reach forklifts, stand-up straddle trucks, walk behinds, pallet jacks, and RF equipment

  • Stacking and storing merchandise, picking and assembling orders for shipment, and checking freight for accuracy, damage, and infestation

  • Labeling, sorting, wrapping, packing, and repacking products as directed by management

  • Maintaining a clean and orderly work environment, performing inventory, cleaning, forklift battery changes, and other duties as assigned

  • Adhering to OSHA standards and operating all equipment in a safe manner

This job might be an outstanding fit if you:

  • Have at least 12 months of consistent forklift operation experience, including high-reach forklifts (Must Have Reach Experience)

  • Hold a high school diploma or GED (preferred but not required)

  • Can work independently, demonstrate attention to detail, and consistently meet deadlines

  • Are available for overtime, evenings, or weekends as needed and adhere to attendance policies

  • Are able to meet physical requirements: lift up to 70 lbs., tolerate standing up to 5 hours per shift, work at heights up to 30 ft., and in temperature-controlled environments from 32°F to -45°F

  • Can wear appropriate cold-protection gear (clothing, boots, headgear, gloves) and use hands/fingers to handle or feel, reach, talk, hear, and see (specific vision abilities required)
