SAP Material Master Data & Material BOMs Specialist
Project for SAP 4Hanna implementation / SAP experience required
- Boulder, CO 80301 – 100% on site
- Temporary Contract through the end of the year, potential for extension
- Pay: $46 – $56 hr. + Completion Bonus
- Monday-Friday 8-5 with potential for overtime
We are seeking a detail-oriented SAP Manufacturers & Suppliers Data Specialist to support a large-scale SAP ECC to S/4HANA migration initiative. This role will focus on supplier and manufacturer data collection, validation, and cleansing activities to ensure accurate and complete master data for migration readiness.
The ideal candidate will have experience working with manufacturing, procurement, supply chain, quality documentation, and ERP master data processes.
Key Responsibilities
Manufacturer Data Collection & Validation
- Collect and review Certificates of Analysis (COAs) from LabVantage, Warehouse (WH), and Parts Crib records for materials received within the past two years that are designated as active for migration.
- Validate and document manufacturing-related information for each active material, including:

- Manufacturing site name
- Manufacturing site address
- Manufacturer part number
- Manufacturing site name
- Maintain and update export sheets with accurate manufacturer data for migration and master data governance purposes.
- Temp conditions, Storage Conditions, Shelf Life – Compare values on CoA/SDS to SAP; gather data for shelf life
- Assist with the cleansing of the descriptions and updates
- Review / update Purchase Order text
- Review / update Reorder Point Values
- Collection of all the Vendors and lead times (Planned Delivery times)
- For customer accounts, compare listing to migration list for BP Customer; in working file, mark bank accounts linked to customer accounts that will not be migrated and flag for deletion in ECC – Complete comparison and make notes for SME review+A13:A20
- Verify completeness and consistency of collected records across multiple source systems and documentation repositories.
Supplier Master Data Support
- Gather supplier-related master data required for SAP ECC updates and migration activities.
- Prepare, validate, and organize supplier data for upload into SAP ECC.
- Assist with identifying incomplete, duplicate, or inaccurate supplier and manufacturer records.
- Collaborate with Procurement, Warehouse, Quality, and Supply Chain teams to resolve missing or conflicting data.
- Support overall data cleansing and migration readiness efforts tied to supplier and manufacturer master data.
Qualifications
- Experience with SAP ECC and/or S/4HANA master data activities
- Background in manufacturing, procurement, supply chain, warehouse operations, or quality systems
- Familiarity with Certificates of Analysis (COAs), material traceability, and supplier documentation
- Experience working with LabVantage or similar laboratory information systems is a plus
- Strong Microsoft Excel and data management skills
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to manage large datasets and coordinate across multiple departments
Experience as Buyer, purchasing, procurement or supply chain would work well in this role
