Brea, CA (Onsite)
8am-5pm Monday-Friday/Temp-to-Hire
Payrate: $60 – $90 per hour (DOE)


Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Financial Analyst with strong Oracle HFM and Smart View expertise to support financial reporting, month-end close, and complex Excel-based analysis in a high-volume enterprise environment.
This role requires an advanced Excel user who is comfortable working with large, multi-tab financial models, complex formulas, and high-volume Smart View data intersections, combined with strong accounting knowledge, accuracy, and discipline.


Key Responsibilities
HFM / Smart View Reporting

  • Perform bi-annual HFM write access reviews and documentation

  • Maintain Smart View financial reporting processes

  • Support month-end close using Smart View and data warehouse tools

  • Work with large HFM data intersections and consolidation structures

Advanced Excel Modeling

  • Build and maintain large Excel models (80+ tabs, high-volume data sets)

  • Work with thousands to hundreds of thousands of rows

  • Use advanced formulas including SUMIFS, COUNTIFS, VLOOKUP, HLOOKUP

  • Apply nested logic, text functions, conditional formatting, and HFM functions (HSGETVALUE / HSSETVALUE)

  • Navigate and manage complex workbooks efficiently

Financial & Month-End Support

  • Support intercompany geo and product line assignments

  • Assist with trade distribution and margin reporting processes

  • Execute repetitive month-end tasks with high accuracy

  • Prepare documentation for monthly close cycles

Compliance & Reporting

  • Support quarterly compliance testing and reporting

  • Collect and validate data from global and government sources

  • Update Excel, PowerPoint, and audit documentation

  • Ensure accuracy for audit-ready reporting

Process Improvement

  • Improve and maintain financial models and reporting tools

  • Document standard work procedures

  • Support enhancements to legacy Excel processes

Required Qualifications

  • Strong hands-on experience with Oracle HFM and Smart View

  • Advanced Excel skills with large-scale financial models

  • Strong understanding of:

    • Accounting fundamentals

    • Intercompany accounting

    • Financial reporting & consolidation


  • Experience with large datasets and enterprise reporting environments

  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy

  • Excellent documentation and communication skills
