What’s a typical day as Buyer II? You’ll be:
– Processing purchase orders for spare parts, assemblies, and components while reporting to the Purchasing Manager.
– Analyzing and communicating relevant data such as vendor quotes, parts lists, and reports to ensure informed decision-making.
– Obtaining, evaluating, and negotiating bids from suppliers regarding price, delivery, quality, and terms and conditions.
This job might be an outstanding fit if you:
– Hold a Bachelor’s degree (4 years); a degree in Business Finance is preferred.
– Have a minimum of 5 years of purchasing experience, with 8 years preferred, particularly in semiconductor manufacturing or the electronics industry.
– Are proficient in Outlook and Excel, with strong team collaboration and self-motivation skills.
