Position Overview:
A leading electronics manufacturer is seeking a detail-oriented Test Technician to perform functional and system-level testing of server hardware within a high-volume manufacturing environment. This position plays a critical role in ensuring product quality, reliability, and continuous improvement by identifying hardware issues, troubleshooting failures, and collaborating closely with engineering teams.

Location: Georgetown, TX 78628
Pay Rate: $24.00/hour
Schedule: Monday – Friday, 7:00 AM to 4:00 PM
Key Responsibilities:
- Execute functional and system-level tests on server hardware following engineering specifications
- Diagnose and troubleshoot test failures using standard equipment and tools
- Collaborate with Test and Manufacturing Engineering teams on root cause analysis
- Accurately document test results, defects, and issues in internal systems
- Maintain and calibrate test equipment to ensure accuracy
- Support New Product Introduction (NPI) builds and testing activities
- Ensure adherence to ESD, safety, and quality standards
- Escalate complex issues as needed
Qualifications:
- Associate degree in Electronics, Electrical Technology, Computer Science, or relevant hands-on experience
- 2+ years in electronics testing or a manufacturing/test environment
- Knowledge of Linux (scripting and command-line)
- Understanding of LAN/networking fundamentals
- Experience with test equipment (multimeters, oscilloscopes, power supplies)
- Ability to follow schematics and technical documentation
Preferred:
- Experience with server hardware or high-volume electronics manufacturing
- Familiarity with automated test systems and diagnostic software
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Work Environment:
- Fast-paced, high-volume manufacturing setting
- Standing for extended periods; handling electronic components
- Strict adherence to ESD and safety protocols
