Kelly Services is Hiring Test Technician in Georgetown, TX 78628!

Position Overview:
A leading electronics manufacturer is seeking a detail-oriented Test Technician to perform functional and system-level testing of server hardware within a high-volume manufacturing environment. This position plays a critical role in ensuring product quality, reliability, and continuous improvement by identifying hardware issues, troubleshooting failures, and collaborating closely with engineering teams.

Job Title: Test Technician
Location: Georgetown, TX 78628
Pay Rate: $24.00/hour
Schedule: Monday – Friday, 7:00 AM to 4:00 PM

Key Responsibilities:

  • Execute functional and system-level tests on server hardware following engineering specifications

  • Diagnose and troubleshoot test failures using standard equipment and tools

  • Collaborate with Test and Manufacturing Engineering teams on root cause analysis

  • Accurately document test results, defects, and issues in internal systems

  • Maintain and calibrate test equipment to ensure accuracy

  • Support New Product Introduction (NPI) builds and testing activities

  • Ensure adherence to ESD, safety, and quality standards

  • Escalate complex issues as needed

Qualifications:

  • Associate degree in Electronics, Electrical Technology, Computer Science, or relevant hands-on experience

  • 2+ years in electronics testing or a manufacturing/test environment

  • Knowledge of Linux (scripting and command-line)

  • Understanding of LAN/networking fundamentals

  • Experience with test equipment (multimeters, oscilloscopes, power supplies)

  • Ability to follow schematics and technical documentation

Preferred:

  • Experience with server hardware or high-volume electronics manufacturing

  • Familiarity with automated test systems and diagnostic software

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

Work Environment:

  • Fast-paced, high-volume manufacturing setting

  • Standing for extended periods; handling electronic components

  • Strict adherence to ESD and safety protocols
