Job Title: Shipping & Receiving Worker (Order Selector)
Schedule: Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM – 3:00 PM
Location: West Deptford, NJ
Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated Shipping & Receiving Worker to join our team. In this role, you’ll be responsible for the accurate storage, shipping, and receiving of products, ensuring company standards for safety, security, sanitation, and productivity are met. If you are detail-oriented and enjoy working in a fast-paced warehouse environment, we’d like to meet you!
Responsibilities:
- Load and unload freight efficiently and safely.
- Move products to storage areas using proper equipment.
- Stack and store merchandise in the designated locations.
- Pick orders, assemble merchandise for shipment, pack, and wrap pallets.
- Process orders, including picking, checking, sorting, consolidating freight, packing, and loading.
- Confirm customer shipments.
- Operate material handling equipment (as required).
- Check and verify freight for accuracy, damage, or infestation.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Assist in warehouse security and inventory counts.
- Conduct operations to promote a safe work environment.
- Perform sanitation functions as needed.
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma/GED preferred.
- Ability to stand/walk for 6 hours per shift.
- Able to lift and pull up to 50 lbs without restriction.
- Regular bending, lifting, stretching, and reaching above the head and below the waist.
- Comfortable working in environments with variable noise, lighting, and temperature.
- Ability to access all areas of the warehouse.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Reliability and punctuality for a set daily schedule.
