Cherry Picker/Reach Operator
Location: Farmers Branch, TX
Pay: $18-$19 (doe)
Shift: T-F, 8am-7pm
Responsibilities:
Receive, inspect, and accurately process incoming shipments.
Pick, pack, and prepare customer orders for shipment, including dry goods and frozen products, according to company standards.
Load and unload trucks using appropriate material handling equipment.
Maintain accurate inventory records through cycle counts and report discrepancies promptly.
Safely operate forklifts, electric pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment.
Keep the warehouse clean, organized, and free of hazards.
Follow all company policies, procedures, and safety regulations.
Assist with additional warehouse duties as assigned.
Work Schedule:
Tuesday–Friday
10-hour shifts
Typical hours: 8:00 AM – 7:00 PM
Competencies:
Strong attention to detail
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Good communication skills
Basic math and computer skills
Ability to follow instructions and standard operating procedures
Required Skills & Abilities:
Experience operating forklifts and electric pallet jacks safely and efficiently
Ability to accurately pick and pack dry goods and frozen products
Proficiency using warehouse management software
Strong organizational skills
Ability to lift and move items up to 50 lbs repeatedly
Knowledge of basic warehouse safety procedures
Education & Experience:
High school diploma or equivalent preferred
Minimum of 1 year of warehouse or logistics experience preferred
Forklift certification preferred
Physical Requirements:
Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
Frequent lifting, bending, stooping, and reaching
Ability to work in varying temperatures, including freezer areas
Ability to safely operate warehouse equipment and lift up to 50 lbs
Work Environment
Warehouse environment with exposure to varying temperatures, noise, and moving machinery
Occasional overtime may be required to meet operational needs
