Job Title: Accounts Receivable Associate
Location: Hybrid (3 days onsite, 2 days remote following training)
Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. (some flexibility required)
Max Pay Rate: $25/hour
Experience Required: Minimum 1 year in a similar role


Job Description:
Kelly is seeking an Accounts Receivable Associate to join our client’s team. This role is ideal for detail-oriented professionals with strong communication and analytical skills looking to manage a complex portfolio of international and government customers. The Accounts Receivable Associate is responsible for proactively managing customer payment activities, performing analysis, and supporting process improvements within the Accounts Receivable function.
Working under moderate supervision, you will engage both internal and external customers, primarily through professional email correspondence, as well as Zoom and in-person interactions. You will handle a diverse customer base across Scandinavia, the Middle East, the Far East, and the U.S. Government, requiring a high level of organization and cultural awareness.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Process customer payments and reconcile accounts receivable balances.

  • Prepare statements of accounts for customers and address basic inquiries.

  • Perform root cause analysis on late payments and suggest process improvements.

  • Support month-end reporting and participate in projects to optimize AR processes.

  • Download, upload, and organize data, and use Excel (including VLOOKUP, sorting, and simple pivot tables).

  • Communicate effectively and professionally across multiple channels (email, Zoom, in-person).

  • Perform other AR-related duties as assigned.

  2. Technical Proficiency: Confident in downloading/uploading information and using Excel for data management.

  3. Attention to Detail: Accurate processing and keen observation to identify discrepancies or opportunities.

Preferred Qualifications and Experience:

  • Minimum of 1 year in an Accounts Receivable or similar finance/accounting role.

  • Experience managing a portfolio of diverse, international clients is highly valued.

  • Problem-solving mindset; ability to analyze situations and propose improvements.

  • Comfort working in a hybrid setting after onsite training.

  • Flexibility to adapt communication styles to different audiences and mediums.
