What’s a typical day as Finishing Operator- 1st shift? You’ll be:
- Performing quality checks on finished bags and pouches during production
- Packing completed products into shipping boxes and moving them to the packing area
- Assembling boxes, applying informational/identification labels, and preparing shipments
- Assisting operators and team members with production and machine changeovers
- Filling hot melt units and helping as part of the pit crew during press changeovers
- Performing basic QC testing and troubleshooting minor packaging issues
- Maintaining a clean, organized work area and following all plant safety procedures
- Supporting food safety and reporting concerns as needed
This job might be an outstanding fit if you:
- Have a high school diploma or GED (preferred)
- Possess basic computer skills and mechanical aptitude
- Are detail oriented and committed to quality work
- Can follow safety procedures and production instructions closely
- Enjoy working in a fast-paced, team-oriented manufacturing setting
- Are able to stand, walk, bend, squat, and lift 50 lbs. or more throughout your shift
