Production Worker – Finish Apprentice (2nd Shift)

Location: Telford, PA
Department: Finishing
Pay Rate: $18 per hour 
Shift: 2nd Shift: 3pm-11pm, (Monday-Friday)

About the Role:
We are seeking a motivated, detail-oriented individual to join our Finishing Department as a Finish Apprentice. In this vital role, you will ensure finished bags and pouches meet our quality standards and are properly packed for shipment. You will support the finishing operations, conduct quality checks, package product, and help maintain a safe, organized workspace.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform quality checks on finished materials during production

  • Pack completed bags and pouches into shipping boxes

  • Assemble boxes and apply informational/inventory labels

  • Move finished materials to the packing area

  • Assist machine operators and other team members as needed

  • Fill hot melt units and assist during press changeovers

  • Perform basic quality control testing

  • Troubleshoot minor production or packaging issues

  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area

  • Follow plant safety procedures; report safety issues or concerns

  • Support food safety and quality standards

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred

  • Basic computer skills

  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment

  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality

  • Willingness to follow safety procedures and production instructions

  • Mechanical aptitude and willingness to help with equipment changeovers

Physical Requirements:

  • Repetitive standing, walking, bending, squatting, and stooping

  • Ability to lift 50 lbs. or more

  • Capacity to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
