Material Handler – Kelly, Salt Lake City, UT

Are you ready to join a team that values accuracy, efficiency, and safety? Kelly is seeking a reliable Material Handler for a leading light industrial operation in Salt Lake City, UT. This position plays a crucial role in supporting production by ensuring that materials are moved, tracked, and delivered efficiently in a clean room environment.
Pay: $19 / hr
Hours: 6:30 am – 6:30 pm (rotating)
Position Overview:
As a Material Handler, you will be responsible for moving, transferring, and pulling orders needed to support production processes. You’ll conduct inventory transactions in Oracle, operate material handling equipment, and play a key part in keeping production running smoothly.
Key Responsibilities:

  • Stage and organize materials in designated areas

  • Maintain a clean and safe work environment

  • Operate forklifts, walkie riders, order selectors, or pallet jacks as needed

  • Pick and pull materials from warehouse or Kanban areas while performing Oracle transactions

  • Weigh, verify, and stock returns from production back to warehouse or Kanban locations

  • Confirm part, lot, quantity, and location accuracy when pulling inventory

  • Move finished goods to warehouse and ensure staging areas are clear

  • Perform labeling, work order reconciliation, and daily cycle/zone counts

  • Follow all safety regulations and procedures

  • Troubleshoot Oracle errors as required

  • Complete shift tasks as needed to support team goals

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or GED required

  • Must be at least 18 years old

  • Ability to read, write, perform basic math, and accurately use complex computer programs

  • Forklift experience required

  • Experience with Oracle preferred

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word)

  • At least one year of related experience preferred

  • Strong oral and written communication skills; can work with minimal supervision

  • Able to work 12-hour rotating shifts and in a fast-paced environment

Physical Requirements:

  • Must be able to sit, stand, or kneel for long periods of time

  • Use computers or touchscreens to enter data

  • Occasionally move and lift up to 40 lbs

  • Comfortable working around automated robots and heavy equipment

  • Work performed in a clean room environment
