Position: Machine Operator / Milling – Multiple Openings
Location: East Longmeadow, MA
Company: Stanley Black & Decker
Pay: $22.00 per hour
Schedules Available
- Overnight Shift: 8:30 PM – 5:00 AM
- Some positions offer four-day workweeks
Key Responsibilities
- Set up and operate milling equipment to precise tolerances
- Verify coils and review previous operation records
- Replace cutting tools as needed
- Handle SAP transactions and production documentation
- Perform quality inspections; record results on production charts
- Assist with inventory cycle counts
- Cross-train in the Hot Punch area
- Maintain clean, organized, and safe equipment/work areas
- Report material defects, equipment malfunctions, or discrepancies
- Ensure compliance with quality and safety standards
Qualifications
- Preferred: Previous machine operator or manufacturing experience
- Mechanical aptitude and attention to detail
- Ability to read/follow instructions
- Basic computer skills (SAP experience a plus)
- Ability to work safely in a fast-paced environment
- Willingness to learn and cross-train in other areas
