Holesaw Weld Operator | $21/hr | 1st Shift

Stanley Black & Decker | East Longmeadow, MA
Full-Time | Monday–Friday | 5:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Pay: $21.00/hour
Training Schedule: 8 hours/day

Kelly® is hiring a Holesaw Weld Operator for Stanley Black & Decker in East Longmeadow, MA. Join a team that manufactures high-quality tools for some of the world’s most recognized brands.

As a Holesaw Weld Operator, you will set up and operate equipment used in the manufacturing process, including automatic blanking, heat treat forming, and robotic TIG welding equipment. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys hands-on work, learning new processes, and producing quality products.

What You’ll Do

  • Set up and operate automatic blanking, heat treat forming, and robotic TIG welding equipment

  • Follow production priorities, work instructions, and established procedures

  • Set up and change over nitrogen forming furnaces and welding equipment

  • Load parts into robotic welding systems or manually load into welding fixtures

  • Operate automatic welding cycles and monitor production quality

  • Perform visual inspections to ensure weld quality and product specifications are met

  • Check holesaws for roundness, weld height, weld penetration, and overall quality

  • Adjust machine settings including speed, stroke position, and welding current as needed

  • Replace welding tips and complete tooling adjustments

  • Rework or scrap products that do not meet specifications

  • Record production data and maintain accurate documentation

  • Keep equipment and work areas clean and organized

  • Follow all safety procedures and report equipment or material issues

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED required

  • Manufacturing or machine operation experience preferred

  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality

  • Ability to follow written and verbal instructions

  • Mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn new equipment

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment

  • Strong teamwork and problem-solving skills
