Kelly, in partnership with a brand-new manufacturing company, is looking for a Mechanical Maintenance Technician in Halls, TN!

This is a direct hire position meaning you will be hired permanently with our client and offered their benefit, vacation, and compensation upon hire!

Details:

  • Hours: Days and night shifts available | Flexible hours

  • Pay: $28 – $40 per hour (depending on experience)

Position Summary:
This role is responsible for maintaining equipment reliability and precision and supporting improvements that enhance productivity, quality, and uptime.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform preventive mechanical maintenance and corrective repairs

  • Maintain CNC alignment, lubrication, precision and cleanliness

  • Maintain mechanical systems on anodizing lines — tanks, piping, pumps, cranes

  • Inspect, service and repair hydraulic and pneumatic systems

  • Support welding, machining, fabrication and part manufacturing

  • Participate in TPM development and continuous improvement efforts

  • Assist installation, commissioning and testing of new equipment

  • Maintain maintenance documentation and spare parts management
     

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or GED required; technical certification in Industrial Maintenance, Mechanical Maintenance, Millwright, or related field preferred

  • 1+ year of mechanical maintenance experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment

  • Basic troubleshooting and repair experience with CNC machinery, automated equipment, and industrial production systems

  • Experience maintaining hydraulic, pneumatic, lubrication, and mechanical drive systems

  • Knowledge of pumps, piping systems, conveyors, cranes, tanks, and rotating equipment preferred

  • Experience with preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance practices

  • Welding, fabrication, machining, and metalworking experience preferred

  • Experience supporting equipment installation, startup, commissioning, and testing

  • Strong understanding of industrial safety practices and lockout/tagout procedures

  • Proficient with hand tools, power tools, precision measuring instruments, and maintenance equipment
