Job Title: Racker – 2nd Shift
Department: Racking
Job Type: Hourly, $15/hour + $0.75 Shift Premium (2nd Shift)
Schedule: Monday–Thursday, 3:00 PM – 11:00 PM
Training: First 30 days on First Shift (Monday–Thursday, 5:00 AM – 3:30 PM)

Summary

Key Responsibilities

  • Securely attach metal parts to racks for finishing operations.

  • Visually inspect components prior to processing to identify defects.

  • Use custom racking for proprietary client parts.

  • Accurately interpret racking requirements for various component types.

  • Maintain familiarity with products and inventory identifiers.

  • Follow organizational procedures related to environmental management and quality standards, including participation in internal audits.

  • Execute other duties as assigned by supervisors.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent experience required.

  • Strong verbal communication skills preferred.

  • Basic computer proficiency preferred.

  • Fundamental math abilities preferred.

Working Conditions

  • Must wear closed-toe shoes in production areas.

  • Areas may not be temperature controlled.

  • Follow all safety protocols around equipment.

  • Role requires standing, bending, and turning throughout shift.

  • Lifting and carrying up to 70 lbs may be necessary.

  • Frequent repetitive movements.

Health & Safety Requirements

  • Work in alignment with health and safety laws and company policies.

  • Report faulty equipment or safety hazards to leadership.

  • Support site security protocols and ensure entry points are secure.

  • Maintain a clean, organized workspace.

  • Never bypass safety devices except when authorized and with temporary protection.

  • Refrain from dangerous or disruptive behavior.
