Job Title: Forklift Operator (Stand-Up)

Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced and safety-conscious Forklift Operator specializing in stand-up forklifts to join our logistics team in Houston, TX. In this role, you will be responsible for handling shipping and receiving tasks, managing material handling, and ensuring the accurate movement of goods within our warehouse operations.

Job Details

  • Location: Houston, TX 77032 


  • Position Type: Temporary / Contract


  • Schedule: Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM


  • Pay Rate: $18.00 per hour


Key Responsibilities

  • Efficiently and safely operate a stand-up forklift to move, locate, relocate, stack, and count merchandise.


  • Execute daily shipping and receiving tasks, including loading and unloading trucks.


  • Verify incoming materials against purchase orders or packing slips to ensure accuracy.


  • Pick, pack, and prepare products for shipment according to order specifications.


  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment in compliance with company standards.


  • Perform routine safety inspections on equipment before operation.


Qualifications & Requirements

  • Experience: Proven experience operating a stand-up forklift is strictly required.


  • Strong background in shipping/receiving, logistics, or general material handling.


  • Ability to lift, push, pull, and carry warehouse materials as required for the role.


  • Excellent attention to detail and strong organizational skills.


  • Ability to work the established shift reliably.
