Job details
Kelly is seeking a detail-oriented and skilled Wire Processing Technician to ensure outbound shipments are accurate and free of damage. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating machinery to process wire, maintaining high standards of productivity and accuracy, and collaborating with team members to meet customer requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure outbound shipments are accurate and free of damage.
- Place specified wire reels onto the payout spindle of the machine and thread the wire through feed rolls.
- Adjust machine controls to regulate factors such as wire thickness, pressure, heat, and cutting and stripping length.
- Stack/store merchandise in the appropriate area and stage wire cuts in the designated shipping area.
- Maintain a minimum standard in wire cuts in compliance with current company policies regarding accuracy and productivity.
- Report any damage to electronic hardware, work machines, or pipe racks immediately to a supervisor.
- Perform other duties as assigned by management.
Qualifications:
- Able to meet deadlines consistently.
- Excellent attendance record is required.
- Willingness to work overtime as needed.
Requirements:
- General knowledge of electrical products.
- Ability to effectively communicate with co-workers to satisfy customer requirements.
- Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations to accurately complete job tasks.
