Research Assistant / Field Technician – Contract Opportunity
Kelly Science & Clinical is currently seeking a Research Assistant / Field Technician for a contract opportunity with a confidential agricultural and life sciences client in North Charleston, SC.
This is an excellent opportunity for recent graduates or individuals with basic laboratory experience who are eager to gain hands-on experience in agricultural research and field operations.

Schedule
- Day Shift
- Monday–Friday
- 40 hours/week
- Start time between 7:00 AM – 7:30 AM
- No overtime anticipated
Pay Rate
- $20.00/hour
Contract Type
- Temporary / Contract Position
- Initial assignment with potential extension based on business needs
- No permanent conversion anticipated at this time
Position Overview
This role will primarily support outdoor agricultural research activities, with a strong emphasis on field work conducted in outdoor conditions. Candidates should be comfortable working outside for extended periods and be willing to assist with a variety of research support activities.
Responsibilities
- Assist research staff with field trial activities and data collection
- Support planting, sampling, monitoring, and general outdoor research operations
- Maintain accurate records and follow established procedures
- Assist with basic laboratory support activities as needed
- Follow all safety and operational protocols
Qualifications
- Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Biology, Agriculture, Environmental Science, Chemistry, or related scientific field preferred
- Recent graduates encouraged to apply
- Basic laboratory experience is a plus
- Strong work ethic and positive attitude required
- Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions, including heat and humidity
- Reliable transportation and strong attendance required
