Job Title: Facilities Maintenance Electrician
Location: Manassas, VA – Onsite at Semiconductor Fabrication Facility
Day Shift: Monday to Friday

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain and repair electrical components of facility equipment and systems.

  • Perform preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance, including thorough inspections and coordination with contractors.

  • Apply knowledge of the National Electrical Code (NFPA 70) and NFPA 70E; follow all safety protocols including Lockout Tagout (LOTO).

  • Interpret electrical one-line diagrams and perform feeder switching on redundant switchboards.

  • Respond promptly to system failures and alarms, restoring equipment functionality to ensure system reliability.

  • Monitor abnormal system behaviors and work collaboratively to resolve issues and improve performance.

  • Maintain accurate documentation regarding maintenance, testing, calibration, and equipment performance.

  • Conduct detailed preventive maintenance on complex facility equipment using diagnostic tools and technical expertise.

  • Perform maintenance on:

    • Switchgear (Low Voltage / Medium Voltage)

    • UPS systems, batteries, and distribution panels


  • Troubleshoot electrical failures and restore system uptime quickly.

  • Execute safe switching procedures and verify system status prior to energization.

Minimum Requirements

  • 4+ years of experience in electrical systems.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Valid Electrical Journeyman License.

  • 3+ years of experience working in industrial or semiconductor-specific environments.

  • Associate’s degree in a related field or other relevant certifications.

Additional Responsibilities

  • Install, maintain, and repair facility electrical equipment and systems as required.

  • Install electrical equipment and fixtures: circuit breakers, controllers, switches, motors, meters, conduit, relays, and transmission systems.

  • Read and interpret blueprints, construction drawings, wiring diagrams, and schematics to layout conduit and transmission equipment.

  • Troubleshoot and repair electrical malfunctions using a variety of testing equipment.

  • Operate a range of hand and power tools for installation and repair needs.
