Kelly Services – Skilled Professional Solutions (SPS) is currently seeking a Yard Hand / Forklift Operator for one of our top clients in Springtown, TX. This is a temp-to-hire opportunity and the role is fully onsite. The schedule is Monday–Friday, 7:00am–3:30pm, with the potential for overtime. Pay is $19.65/hr plus full benefits including PTO, holiday pay, health insurance, and life insurance.

As a Yard Hand / Forklift Operator placed with Kelly Services, you will support the daily movement, staging, loading, and unloading of equipment in a busy yard and production environment. This facility focuses on refurbishing and refreshing hydraulic boom lifts and related equipment. Primary responsibilities will include operating forklifts, assisting with the loading and unloading of forklifts and boom lifts, staging equipment for the production team, moving materials safely throughout the yard, and keeping the work area organized.

This role requires strong attention to safety and spatial awareness. The loading and unloading work is performed in tight areas, so candidates must be comfortable working carefully around large equipment, trailers, team members, and other moving parts. Previous forklift or yard experience is highly preferred, but the company is willing to train candidates who are dependable, safety-minded, and mechanically inclined.

Qualified candidates will ideally have experience operating forklifts, working in a yard, warehouse, manufacturing, construction, heavy equipment, automotive, or industrial environment. Candidates who have experience around large equipment, trailers, boom lifts, scissor lifts, or machinery are strongly encouraged to apply. A self-starter with a reliable work history, strong safety mindset, and team-player attitude will be critical for success in this role.

Job Requirements:

• Previous forklift, yard, warehouse, manufacturing, construction, or heavy equipment experience preferred

• Ability to safely work in tight spaces and around large equipment required
• Strong attention to safety, surroundings, and equipment movement required
• Mechanical aptitude or experience around tools/equipment preferred
• Ability to follow instructions and communicate clearly with team members required
• Self-starter, reliable, and team-oriented attitude required
• Willingness to train and learn proper equipment-handling processes required
