Kelly Services is partnering with a growing manufacturer to hire a Buyer/Purchasing Specialist who will play a key role in supporting production, supplier relationships, inventory planning, and cost management.

Schedule
Week 1:
- Monday – Thursday: 9-hour days
- Friday: 8-hour day
Week 2:
- Monday – Thursday: 9-hour days
- Friday: Off

What You’ll Do
- Manage purchasing activities for production materials and components
- Issue and track purchase orders through an ERP system
- Work closely with suppliers to ensure on-time delivery and quality performance
- Analyze inventory levels and material requirements
- Negotiate pricing, lead times, and supplier agreements
- Identify and qualify new suppliers
- Resolve supply chain and delivery issues
- Support production schedules by ensuring material availability
- Monitor supplier performance and drive continuous improvement
- Maintain accurate purchasing and vendor records
- Collaborate with operations, engineering, inventory, and production teams
Qualifications
- 3+ years of purchasing, procurement, supply chain, materials planning, or sourcing experience
- Manufacturing experience strongly preferred
- ERP/MRP experience required
- Strong Excel skills
- Experience managing suppliers and purchase orders
- Strong negotiation and problem-solving abilities
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Bachelor’s degree preferred but not required
