Kelly Services is hiring Production Specialists in Fort Atkinson, WI!
Are you looking for a long-term opportunity with a company that values employee input, offers hands-on work, and provides opportunities to grow your skills? Kelly Services is seeking motivated Production Specialists to join a leading manufacturing team in Fort Atkinson.
One of the biggest perks of this role is the summer schedule! Enjoy a 4.5-day work week from Memorial Day through Labor Day, giving you more time to enjoy your weekends. The facility also encourages employee engagement through its “Bright Ideas” program, where team members can submit suggestions and recommendations to help improve processes and operations.
Pay: $17.25 – $18.00/hr (Based on Experience)
Shift: Monday-Friday | 5:30 AM – 2:00 PM
What You’ll Do:

Read and interpret work orders to understand production requirements.

Follow assembly instructions and basic blueprints.

Stock and replenish parts within assigned work cells.

Set up and operate a variety of production equipment including soldering tools, microscopes, drills, fill machines, part washers, sand blasters, magnet cranes, and cable harness assembly equipment.

Perform assembly tasks such as soldering, crimping, clamping, snipping, and related duties.

Follow testing procedures and utilize measuring equipment as required.

Inspect products for quality and identify non-conforming materials.

Complete required documentation accurately.

Clean, package, and prepare finished products for shipment.

Communicate with supervisors regarding quality, materials, or procedural concerns.
Qualifications:
-
High School Diploma or GED required.
-
Previous assembly, production, or electronics experience preferred.

Soldering experience is a plus.
-
Strong manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination.

Excellent attention to detail and quality standards.
-
Positive attitude and ability to work well in a team environment.
-
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

Understanding of basic manufacturing and quality principles.
